I know I may be clutching at straws, how many people have had negatives test but ended up being preggas?? humour me! <3

Hi all,
usual cycle is 28 days, now on day 30. Did a test this morning - Boots cheapy - BFN.

However usually i get really sore nipples about 7/8 days before my period arrives and also a few spots. This month, no spots, no sore nips.

No other symptoms to be honest, but no AF and no sign of the old witch either!

Think i am about 12/13 DPO.

What date did you test positive on and how many of you had negative results before.

it took me 3 montsh to get a Positive result!! I was 12 weeks before we knew for sure and that includes the ones the hospital use.
There is always hope

i did with dd1 - tested just after cycle ended - nothing, and then tested about a week later, was positive.

I never had a positive test with my first 2.
With DS1, I even did a test when I was 7 months PG, just to see - it was still negative!

That is reassuring - one can only hope!! I'll try and have the willpower to hold out for a few days before testing again.

i have done this - twice- with both dds. i also think i have done it a third time for a mc (but unconfirmed). Both dd's got a positive a week after my due date. so you never know !i just KNEW i was pg despite negative tests and so maybe it will e the same for you.....

gp and hospital were unable to get a +ive at 9 weeks, in fact my hCg levels were 18 had to have a scan to confirm pregnancy

wow - very interesting. Hopefully I will just be one of these cases that show up in a few days.....
although I have just peed in a cup and now waiting for it to cool to room temperature as the Ebay cheapies tell me!

I'm terrible, DP always tells me I have now will power. I'm not denying it!!

With DS3, thought lack of periods was due to rapid weight loss so held off testing, then did test and 4 tests came up negative. Went to Doc as was worried when 3rd period didn't show, explained about weight loss - he insisted on preg test and lo and behold was 3m preg - that pregnancy flew by.

Ladyoftheflowers bit ous how great not to have that 1st trimester doubt, although if you were losing weight obviously it wasn't all roses!

is my pee room temp yet..........

hooha we can be seral poas'ers - 3 internet cheapies and one first response in three days and all bfns.

i am on cd34 of ucl 30-32. think i might have ovulated late as had terrible cramps on cd23.. not too sure :-(

have had two mmc's in the last year, need some hope!

I am pretty sure I ovulated on the 4th of Jan, as did a test and it said yes, and had the usual mucus - sorry if TMI.

Keep me updated with how you get on - nice to know it's not just me who is a addict of the testing at the mom.

I was getting convinced I was dying or something as I would fall asleep in the afternoons - out cold - and the kids would ransack the place.

Did a bit of research and you should be able to see a bfp 6-12 days after ovulation. i think i ovulated late on the 6th jan which is 11 days since ov. getting quite cynical now but just want af to come so i can get onto next cycle..

My doc's test was less sensitive than the one I bought at Boots and the receptionist wouldn't let me make a booking-in appointment. It took three attempts at their test to persuade them. I KNEW I was pregnant.

I did THREE tests last week - all neg. I should have learned my lesson by today, especially as AF was due today (hardly any blood though). So, yes, I've just done ANOTHER test - a sodding CB Digital- and of course it's a BFN!!! (Hits self hard - why would it be anything but???)

Hi LeeWT - which website do you buy your tests from? I can't continue buying CB - will bankrupt self soon!

LEEWT I would be kidding myself if I thought I wouldn't be testing tomorrow and I will continue to test until the old AF arrives - I am an addict I admit it!!
Oh well there are worse things to be addicted to.

Isn't that complete disappointment when your late but BFN a big old 'ohhhhh'.

One day it WILL be a BFP, tigerbear you can get them off Ebay, I have the fertile plan ones where u get a combo of ovulation and pregnancy ones.

I had a negative result when it turned out I was 5 weeks pregnant, got BFP when I was 7 weeks

Misshoohaa - I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get a BFP!

Just knew I was pregnant first time trying but got BFN several times socarriedondrinking. Got a faint bfn four days before due period (although other tests still negative).

In imho Asda tests are best as can predict six-four days before AF

well cd35 today and did two cheapys both bfn.. fed up :-(

ive given up now as dont reckon theres any way now..

Hi Lee, me too, another BFN this morning.
RUBBISH!!!
No AF though.............dont know whether if I want it or not, at least if she arrives Iwe can get on with some baby making next cycle.

Hope this helps you all. Was convinced I was pregnant but had BFN first son. Week later BFP. Again with second pregnancy - late period, all early preg signs but 3 negative tests!!! They were not cheap ones either. Had to hide the third from husband who thought I'd lost the plot. My advice is wait a bit longer (I know it's frustrating) and test again. Good luck.

Thanx two wellies - the wait continues today............pains in my tum so probably AF on her way!
