Sorry this is long!

I have used a clear blue fertility monitor for the last month. The clear blue monitor showed a peak on days 25/26 so I ov'd around then, which was 2/3rd Jan, and we took appropriate action
Woke up in night of 4th with sore stomach and for rest of week stomach was sore and had pains into legs and a bit of backache. Decided to test on Mon even though it was only 9/10dpo and got a very instant result (came up before test line) on a first response. Then used a clear blue digital and it said 2 - 3 weeks on it. Also tried a tesco cheapie and that also came up straight away.
Tested using clear blue again today, and it is now showing that I am 3+ weeks pregnant.

Had what I thought was AF on the 8th December and it was a couple of days early. It lasted 3 days (usually about 5 days) but seemed 'normal' not light. Could this have been an impantation bleed? although this doent't seem to add up either.
Any one got any ideas ?

It doesn't mean three weeks since implantation I think. Pregancy is counted from the first day of your lmp so when you get your a positive test say the day your period is due you will know you're 2 weeks pregnant (most likely) but you will straight away count as 4 weeks pregnant.

I had an implantation bleed which was about a week earlier than my AF would have been and that's how I knew I was PG because I was normally so regular and the bleed was very light.

If your CB says 3+ then you are about 5 weeks, if that helps... I used one and mine said 3+ and when I had the first scan at 12 weeks, it was about a day out, so pretty accurate!

Firstly CONGRATULATIONS!

Secondly, (and I am by no means an expert here) but might this be twins?

I think that twins show a higher level of HcG, which is what the tests detect. Might his account for the high reading so early in your pregnancy?
