Clomid - How many cycles can you take it for?

I would like another dc but have had 8 cycles of clomid in total. Concieved ds after 2 cycles and dd after 6 cycles.

Was wondering how many more cycles it is safe for me to go on clomid. If wanting to go ahead with ttc will obviously go through the fertility clinic, but I've gone to the gp and asked if its safe for me to have any more clomid and he's said unsure so referred me to fc.

However, emotionally I don't want to get on the rollercoaster of possibly having another dc if the answer after 3 months of waiting for an appointment the answer is no.

Sorry for the long post.

I think if you've had a break between rounds of clomid then you'll be ok to take it again.

I have been led to understand that if you have had a pregnancy in between, then you can start from scratch with the clomid, i.e. yes it is safe to do up to 6 more cycles - but check with your fc. I am just about to start clomid for the first time. Good luck.
