soooo... clearblue tests...

hi

i just wanted a few other opinions (well other than google and me) about how accurate clearblue tests are. i had a BFP on a CB test and i have just read an article that says CB's pick up LH aswell as HcG.

has anyone had experience of a CB being inaccurate?

for those who know me know i have been waiting for a BFP to stick for a LONG time for those who dont, i am up to cycle 26/27 and i have had 4 early MC/CP's making my total MCs to 5 and i have 1 DD.

i do have some symptoms like sore boobs and nipples (TMI) but i am only 4 weeks so i am not likely to have more than that at this stage anyway, and i have a hopeful feeling whereas i didnt with the MCs i felt like doom and gloom from the minute i found out until i started to bleed. i dont know if that is a good sign etc but anywho...

any thoughts??

im onto my 7th pregnancy with 1 DD so i know what you mean about the feeling of doom. Wouldnt it be great if we see a line and think yay i will have a baby in 8 months time. It sucks BUT this time i dont feel the doom which is weird but im loving it. Think possitive and everytime u feel sick or have sore boobs think yay (still moan like hell though)

are you due in september then starshaker?? my EDD is 13th sept it is nice to hear from someone in a very similar position to me how old is your DD?? my DD is 4 on friday

my dd is 5 in april and im due on the 29th of aug although i still need to get it confirmed with a scan which im getting on thursday cos of my history. I do think it will be a september baby though.

good luck with your scan i have to ring the recurrent MC clinic on monday morning and arrange to go in and see the consultant. i have APS (specifially lupus anticoag) and have to take low dose asprin daily and the consultant has said i possibly need heparin injections aswell so that will need to be arranged. i am scared they will tell me bad news like im living in a dream world and all is not as it seems mad arent i?? i dont know if i can even bring myself to go to the GP as i feel it would jinx it like i am tempting fate by telling anyone other than DH its driving me mad!! hence the furious googling etc

yup know about the googling and ive been making many visits to mothercare website then closing it down almost straight away. Ive told some people in the hope that it makes it real and that baby stays put (now thats mad) I got tests last time and was told there was nothing wrong so just need to hope and pray it all works out.
BTW if u ever want a mad rant or just somebody to chat to about all the weird thoughts let me know cos the chances are im having them 2 lol
