Digital test changed its reading

Hi there

Can anyone offer me any advise please.

Took a digital test on day period was due last thursday as my DP and I have been trying for a baby.
Anyway I did the test midmorning and it came back ' not pregnant' so I threw it in my bag and went last minute xmas shopping.
When I got home a few hours later I got teh test out of my bag to throw away and the reading had changed to ' pregnant 1-2 ' ???

Has anyone had one change its reading ???

I did another one next morning and it said ' not pregnant '

Still no period 3 days on.......feeling odd twinges and had light cramping last week which I assumed was my period but nothing since.

Anyone offer me some advise on these tests as I have never used digital ones in the past.

You can't trust a test after the initial ten minute window so I would disregard the "Pregnant 1-2" reading and test in a few days. Have you used a first response test? They are the most sensitive on the market as far as I know.

I'm also trying, so I know how frustrating it can be to get negative pregnancy tests yet still no period...but really my only advice for you would be to wait a few days. A week if you can manage it. Then if you are pregnant the hormones will have built up in your body enough for a test to read it.
Keep having sex every 2-3 days till you get either a positive test or your period. And good luck!!

Tested again and came back neg but still no period and now a week late !

So still hoping but not feeling pregnant but not sure I would at this early stage ???

So not sure what to think !!!

try a different type of test. CB digitals are notoriously unreliable IMHO

i tested twice with a CBD and both times it came back 'not pregnant' and i was definitely pregnant and getting positives on other tests.(its just nice to see it in print IYSWIM) my DD is proof they are not always right
