hi all, just wondering if anyone can tell me how soon i might actually get the tests, ie is there usually a long waiting list?? also what will they do first etc?? my gp is useless but hopefully referring us in a few weeks as we will have been trying for 2 yrs then with no success. my cycles are not regular and it took me almost 2 years to concieve my son (now 4 yrs old) with my ex oartner. my partner has a daughter from previous relationship concieved with no problems - shes 7. i know its not definate but given my history of difficulty concieving and ycles being irregular im thinking problem is definately with me or with both of us if that makes sennse ive been holding out for finally getting referred for tests so if gp does refer - he bloody better what should i expect first and how soon, i know some of it will depend on areas etc but just for rough idea please?? am in nottinghamshire if anyone knows what its like here?! gp has done some blood tests and insists hormones were fine but then as im irregular and ive only had this done once im not sure if this actually is worth paper its written on?? any ideas??

Well me and dh had blood tests and he had to give an eherm.....sample.

I then hd bloods taken at certain times in my cycle to check for ovulation. Turns out i dont ovulate every month even though i do have periods every month.

Was referred to gynae but had to wait about 3 months for that appointment. From there i had the various bloods taken.

Been prscribed clomid and start it in Feb.

Think its all blood tests related becasue like you, i carried ds to full term so its not a tube or uterus problem, which is good news as those things i gather are painful and unpleasant.
