Could I have ovulated but doesn't show on test?

This sounds ridiculous I expect but I'm still wondering!

Basically this is my first cycle on clomid (taken day 2-6) and day 1 was dec7th. I had 2 scans day 9& 11 which showed a large enough follicle (?) and womb lining thickening so I was told everything looked promising but we're now away so no further scans poss. The nurse told me to take ovulation tests since last Saturday but despite clear mucous / slight pains they're still negative.

(We've been ttc naturally for 2 1/2 years and I have pco)
thanks if you've followed this so far as I need greater experience here and keep wondering if that's probably it for this month?

hi,
the ovulation sticks aren't always reliable, particularly if you have PCOS or like me a very high FSH level. If you have other signs of ovulation as you say, chances are you have probably ovulated.
I'm just finished 4th cycle of clomid - good luck!
