LH is 1.5. Is that too low? Thought I had PCOS but that doesn't seem to add up now!!

It's probably a long shot but wondered if anyone could shed any light on this for me? My day 3 LH is 1.5, FSH was 6.6. We are ttc no.3, I'm on cycle 6. I have just been doing some research and founf that these levels should be similar. I have had 2 ultrasound scans a few years back and both diagnosed PCOS because of cysts on my ovaries and crazily long cycles. But my LH isn't higher than my FSH which is supposed to indicate PCOS. My cycles are also a very regular 29 days now. But anyway do you think 1.5 too low?

It's just a smidgeon low. The range I had for my Day 3 was 1.6 to 7.9 for the follicular phase. My count was 6.5 and FSH was 9 (range is 3.3 to 11.3). What did doc say? Maybe it's low because you have a very long cycle?

Thanks for replying. I haven't spoken to the dr about it, the receptionist read out the levels to me after telling me the tests were normal. I wonder what happens if your LH is too low . I don't think this cycle will be long, I reckoned I ovulated on around CD17 as usual and my cycles have been a regular 29-30 days for a while.

I think maybe quite good for you to use an ovulation predictor kit - have you been using them? Mine was helpful in showing the surge - took me a while to get it to work though - remembering to poas 2 or 3 times a day from day 10 instead of just once.

I don't think it's "low" low iyswim as in there being a problem. Get an appointment with doc if you can.

I've not used ovulation kits this time. I think I'm allergic to POAS, both OPK and HPT as they both stress me out tbh and make me too focussed on ttc!! But I had a progestorone test a couple of cycles ago which came out at 85, so sounds good on that front. Just can't figure out why the LH is low!!
