baffled by my CM this cycle (tmi alert)

hi, would welcome some advice as I'm really baffled by my CM this cycle.

Been ttc for a year. Normally it follows a clear patter of dry after period, then building up from dry/ sticky to creamy and then EWCM, then dry, then period.

this is what happened last cycle, although I then also continued to get some creamy CM in the lead up to period. Had period on day 34 as usual, it was a little lighter and shorter than normal and a little less painful, but still pretty heavy.

since end of period I have had creamy cm basically every day since then, now on day 21 (have a 34 day cycle), its about when I would normally get EWCM but no sign of it, just continuing CM.

can anyone shed any light on this? Is it a sign of something weird happening?

Have you tested just in case?

I tested just before last period and was negative.

hadn't thought of testing again, period was still heavy enough to look like a 'normal' period (albeit lighter) rather than implantation if that makes sense?

and not sure if this would be a sign of pregnancy? what happens to cm when pregnant?

alternatively I'm worried it could be a sign of some kind of problem?
