Implantation bleeding - v confused.....help!

Hello,
Have been TTC baby no. 2 for the last few months (with CB monitor so know I ovulated etc this month) I am now on day 29 - my cycle is normally 26-27 days, so am in theory 2 days late. Lots of cramping, achey boobs (neither are normal for me) all week. Tested on day 27 BFN, day 28 BFN. So this earlier this afternoon I got the tiniest amount of brownish discharge, but nothing else since. Still cramping though. Could this be implantation bleeding?
Didn't bleed with DS1 but took quite a few days of testing after AF was due before I got a BFP.
Am driving myself slightly insane here - and am reticent to test again in case it's another BFN.......help!

It could be.
I had an implantation bleed with dd but not with ds.
Also with dd and this current pregnancy it did take a fair few days to get a BFP.

DOn't want to get your hopes up but I would test again in a day or 2 if still no period.
Fingers croseed for a BFP for christmas for you and a very un MN to help you stop teraing your hair out.

thank you so much - it feels like I'm losing my mind! I read somewhere that you are more likely to get BFN tests if you have a bit of implantation bleeding......it's just so tough trying to to get my hopes up!

I'm sure I've read it can take up to 12 days for implantation although average is 7 days. Then it's 3 to 4 days for enough HCG to be generated to be detectable. So, try again tomorrow. Fingers crossed for you getting a lovely christmas present.

Agree, and it happens about two weeks after conception, so it sounds good (well, it doesn't with the cramping and sore boobs and all, but you know what I mean!!)

I ovulate late (day 17-18 in a 26-27 day cycle) so fingers crossed......!

Booreeve, i am in the EXACT same boat! i had a little pink in my cm on Tues, very achy boobs since then and cramps Tues and Weds but still nothing!

I did a test and got a bfn, so not sure.

Forgot to say...Tues i was due af.

ok so tested this morning - a very very faint line - but it's there....and tiny bit more brown stuff? Could it be?!

I had both terrible implantation pain and brown discharge - and the pregnancy was fine. In fact the 5 year old result is sat on my feet covered in snot as we speak!

That is good news. You don't seem quite convinced so I won't congratulate you just yet.

I had the same with 3 of my 4. In fact, I remember being worried when I didn't have it.

I will do...I just daren't get excited...had none of this last time so I'm not sure what to make of it all! Will test again tomorrow and see if there's anything more concrete!

ok so that's the 3rd test I've done now - again faint line.....so I think I can say with 3 different faint lines that's a BFP!!!! Still feeling crampy but it's a very happy Christmas house here!

Congratulations! Faint is still pregnant!
