After months and months of holding off on ttc number DC3 dp changed his mind suddenly last month.

LMP began on 29/10 and I haven't had anything since other than some cramps (thought AF was coming) about three weeks ago. I've done seven tests (yep I'm mental) and are all showing negative (latest was about a week ago). Am very confused, DD2 was conceived the one time the condom 'slipped' - what a surprise she was and that was only 3 years ago.

So the question is what do I do next - test again (means I have to go to bloomin' Tesco as DSD works at the chemist across the road and I really wouldn't want her knowing ), wait and see if AF appears (usually pretty regular, fairly long cycle though 34 ish days) or make an appointment with GP? Trying to hold off on the GP appointment as it's a nightmare trying to get one and I know I'll get a lecture about losing weight if I want to conceive.

Thanks for any suggestions.

could it be something to do with the contraception you were using? maybe messed with your cycles?

I don't think so, as I haven't been on the pill/coil etc. Been using condoms since DD2.

Definitely test again and if still -ve then make a doctor's appointment for them to check your hormone levels etc.

Thanks both. Did another net cheapy test yesterday afternoon and still -ve. But, feeling a bit sick over the weekend and fell asleep next to dd1 twice when putting her to bed - practically unheard of.

Got two CB digital tests today and will test tomorrow morning and if stll -ve will brave the doctor's receptionist for an appointment!
