Does being ill affect ovulation?

I have a bug - bad tummy, chills etc, and a temp of 37.5-38 which is a low grade fever. I;m also 13dpo so should be shagging away right now. Does illness have an impact on ovulation? Is it even worth making ourselves bd? Obv temping no good at moment as all over the place with the fever.

yes, i was ill the month before last and ended up with a 36 day cycle when usually i am 28-30 day tye of girl and i had ewcm on day 18 when usually i would have it on day 10-13

last month I went a bit mad testing because I'm on usually 26-28 days, but had got to 31 with no sign of my period. Then I remembered I'd been ill with a high temp on cd14. Sure enough period arrived the next day.

Thanks. Feeling much better and temp normal today (14dpo). Also had lots of ewcm yesterday. Had sex this morning and will continue for week or so just in case.
