twins???

Hi,

My period is due tomorrow, I just did a pregnancy test at 745.pm at night and it shows a faint blue line, conception would have been 14 days ago, am i being paranoid to think this might mean its twins as high HGC levels????????

Congratulations but, yes you're being "paranoid" - is having twins is a bad thing?!

Bit confused as to why you think you have high HCG levels though is it because you are not due until tomorrow? - 14 days post ovulation you should get a positive.

I love you nancydrewrocks, if only because I needed to hear that so I can sleep!!!. I have two boys already, definitely wasnt planning on a third, infact DEFINITELY didnt want a third but am strangely pleased about it. I would definitely prefer not to have twins though, but what will be will be. cheers

A test will usually show up around 14 days after conception. Congratulations.

I am not 100% sure, but I think in twin pregancies HCG levels are the same as a single pregnancy early on, and only increase a bit later.
