pregnancy symptoms

Are there any of you who have been pregnant before and knew from their symptoms what was happening?

I am on day 40, my longest to date, the last couple of days I have felt sick and I have got puffy ankles and fingers, I have gone up 2 rings sizes in about a week. I am really tired, and my temp has been up for about 4 days, usually 36.3/36.4 currently between 36.9 and 37.3. Any ideas?

I tested saturday and it was -tive, I have bad luck with tests, do you know anything about Predictor tests? are they any good, or should I try a different one instead?

No idea... I bought really cheapy sensitive ones online.

Sounds really hopeful - those temps look good! If you've got time on your hands and you've been keeping track of your temps for a while you could go to the fertility friend site, sign up for a free trial, enter the info and see what they reckon? Failing that - test!!!

there is somthing tellin me or should i say i read somwhere that the predictor test arnt great, Would you consider the digital ones i got a +tive on CD26 with one and the doctors test came up -tive! signs on i am 13+5 weeks pregnant.

wow, its very hard not to get excited you know, my hopes are up a little more everyday that passes!

day 42, feeling sick and only just got up. Need to wait until next week to test, but losing the strength to stay away from those tests, please help.

As someone who has long irregular periods, I can sympathise about time dragging on and on waiting and wondering. In heart of hearts though I knew that I was pg with both of mine. Didin?t feel sick at that point, just different. A bit fragile, easily tired, all my skin felt slightly tender to touch and had bad water retention. Was also quite emotional but could have been the stress and excitement.

hey, I'm meant to be staying away from the tests lol. I know what you mean though, all the signs are telling me I am, and I have trouble telling myself to stay away from tests, but I had trouble with tests working for week 6 with my first, so I don't want to test until I can guarantee I am at least 6 weeks, saying that I have just worked out today is day 42 which is exactly 6 wks. damn it, this is hard.

aaah. Really really sympathise. Very hard trying to juggle emotions - wanting to feel excited and imagine scenarios, birth dates etc. and yet trying to act calm and cool as if nothing unusual is going on in the slightest... You poor thing!
Suggest you buy plenty of chocolate cake today No point in telling you to take your mind off it - who in their right mind could do that
Don?t worry - the days will slip on and you will get your answer soon enough

thank you, you guys are amazing, I keep trying to distract myself, but I always end up thinking about it, I even dreamt that if you had a pee in a pot of iodine you could tell if you were pregnant! I actually woke wondering where you could buy the stuff before I realised it was all a dream!

ooh er well girl u have more will power than me I test the day I due on! lol.

my periods have never been perfect so I never test the day I am due, it also helps strengthen my willpower.
