CBFM and travelling through time...

zones, that is.

In the next month, I'm going to be in GMT (where I live) and travelling to CST (6 hours behind GMT) and PST (8 hours behind GMT). I need to set the "M" on my monitor tomorrow morning, and I can't figure out what the ideal time to set the window is so that I can use first morning urine in all of the time zones. Anyone deal with this and can offer advice?

Also, if I can't get it to work, should I just forget it this month? Will that mess up future results? Have only used it for one month so far, so sorry if my questions are rather basic.

Quick help appreciated as I must hit the "M" button in the morning!

I'd just forget about using the monitor this particular month and leave it at home. These things too can cause stress in their own right!.

I attribute the CBFM to helping me fall pregnant after months of nothing. And contrary to Attila's opinion, it took the stress out of everything!

I travelled a lot to the US whilst using it and what I usually did was set the M button at 10:30 (testing window 7:30am - 13:30pm). That way at CST I could test up until 7:30am and PST up until 5:30am).

You will obviously have to set your alarm to get up in the mornings (before 7:30 and 5:30) but I didn't mind doing this.

Upon returning to the UK, if I got up earlier than the 7:30am testing window, I simply peed in a small jar and then tested when I woke up again.

Best of luck!!

Hiya - they have a very useful helpline that you can call. Sorry don't have the number handy but it is in the instruction booklet if you still have that (can dig it out later if you need it). I'd give them a call as I'm sure they come across this all the time.

Thanks for all of the responses! I had thought about the help number, but they only take calls Mon-Fri. I started my window at 10am this morning and plan on doing what teletubby suggested with collecting my urine. I reckon with jet lag I'll be up quite early as it is.
