ttc and mammography

Hi, i'm ttcing for no. 2 for about 4 months now. I saw my doctor yesterday because of a change I found in my breast. She said it feels like fibrous tissue rather than a lump but is sending me for a mammography on monday anyhow.
Today is day 11 of my cycle (usually 26-29 days) and we have 'tried' on day 7 and 9 so we won't try now till monday which is day 14 (on the advice of the doc), but does anyone know if it is still safe to try on the same day as the mammography. Any advice on this would be great as I'm not sure the GP was 100% sure.
I really don't want to have to skip this month and wait till next....

Forgot to add - what if I was pregnant already from trying on day 9. I know its unlikely but still.....

Big bird-could you have a word with the consultant on Monday. They will advise you on whether it will be safe or not. I take it you will try on Monday night?
(Also wanted to bring it into active conversations incase anyone else could help.)

Thanks Snowbird. I talked to the doctor who looks after the scanning and he advised not to do it until my next period is due, just in case. Then the big question was whether to keep trying or not but we did anyway (my GP also said go ahead)
If I am not pregnant this month i'll go for the scan, if I am it'll have to wait 9 months. fingers crossed.
