Hi. This is my first time on here.
My DH and I have been trying to conceive for nearly 7 yrs. After all the usual tests for both of us, everything came back clear with no explanation as to why we had not become pregnant.
We had our 1st full cycle of IVF in Aug 2008, which resulted in a positive pregnancy test, but sadly I MC at 8 weeks.
In Feb this year we had our second attempt, but this with the embryos frozen from the 1st cycle. This wasn't successful.
After long discussions, my DH and I have made the decision to go for a third attempt, this one also being a frozen embryo cycle.
We are due to start in about 7 days time.
I'm really excited, but at the same time really scared. This is our last attempt with funding, therefore I'm scared that if it doesn't work, our dreams of having our own child may be at an end, as the prospect of paying 5k for treatment is just not possible.
Has anyone got any tried and tested methods which they felt had a positive effect on their (IVF) treatment ie Hypnosis, reflexology, accupuncture etc....
