I had a progesterone test done this cycle. Result was 85. Is that good, bad, average?

Just interested to compare really. Surgery said that it confirms ovulation but would have liked to know how far into the normal range it was.

I believe anything over 30 indicates ov - so 85 is very good!

yep no more magnolia is right anything over 30 indicates ovulation most likely to have happened so confims ovulation that cycle.

Hi beach 85 is very high - i had mine tested in the previous cycle and it was 45.

Hi Points! It's good we're both ovulating well, not that it's helped matters so far! I was given metformin when TTC no.2 as they thought it would boost my ovulation (have PCOS). I got pg that month. So I thought I'd get tested again and get them to give me met again. But maybe they won't if this prog. number is so healthy looking.

Speaking of tests, my DH is also having a sperm analysis this month so will see how he gets on-motility wasn't great last time. Think he's a bit worried after hearing my prog results earlier and I've caught him scoffing brazil nuts by the dozen
