Implantation Bleeding

Just how common is it to have an implantation bleed? And how soon after sex does it occur?

the same thing i am wondering........

I've had it both times. Just before my period was due.

Both times heavy enough for me to think it was my period but just lighter. I used tampons too as I didn't think I was pregnant.

Both times it has lasted 3 or 4 days, and then a few days later the nausea and tiredness set in.

Implantation takes place from 7 to 12 days post ovulation. Then takes 3-4 days to produce enough HCG to be detected on a sensitive pg test, generally. Don't know how common implantation bleeds are. I have three DCs and had implantation bleed with number 1.
