Start/ stop periods - wierd

Hi all,

My periods have been a bit start stop for the last few months (bleeding days 1-3 & day 5) but this one is just wierd. I bled as normal for 3 days, then day 4 NOTHING except some white discharge, then on day 5 start bleeding again (very dark) and today, day 6, still bleeding but very brown . Is this normal, anyone had anything similar?

We are ttc and want to be sure it's nothing to be worried about. Thanks.

Hi aideesmum,
Haven't exactly had a similar experience but i did go to doc a while back with an 'odd' period. (bled for a couple of days, stopped, then 2 weeks later started again!! really strange). GP said not to worry for a one off - could be all sorts - but if it happened again next month to go back. Was not TTC at the time so maybe different for you. I'd suggest you see GP to be sure.
