I've had 2 cycles of 18 days when I'm usually 27 days. Now I'm on CD 25, and drumming my fingers impatiently on the table thinking SOMETHING must be coming soon! Its driving me potty because experience tells me to be patient and wait until I'm well past the 27 day mark to test if my AF doesn't arrive...but the damn 2 18 day cycles are throwing me!! ARGHH!! Do I make sense??!

Hi Elsa - any news? I'm very irregular myself and currently on Day 29 of what could have been a 23-37 day cycle (was actually 49 days long once, but I'm calling that fluke...) No sign of anything at all yet either... It's very frustrating, not knowing what's going on inside your own body, but from all I've read, it seems as though there really is nothing for it but to wait...

Is this your first?

Hello ladies (big wave at WhiteRoses)! I used to have very regular cycles, but have gone wonky over the last few months (30-50 day cycles). Now, I chart bbt and use OPK's so that I know whether I am on a short or long cycle. It keeps me from getting too excited (and gutted) when af is late, since I know when I ovulate, and therefore I know when to actually expect af. It has also been useful since, although it hasn't taken yet, I know that I still managed to catch my ovulation each month and made the most of it.

I don't know what to make of 18 day cycles. That's so short! I guess that's better than super-long cycles, but it would be frustrating not to know if or when you ovulated. Hopefully they were just flukes (and maybe this will be your BFP month!!). Fingers crossed!

(and WhiteRoses, take the promotion!!!!!)

Hiya- just when I ws thinking, my symptoms are really PGish, I got my period on CD 26, so I'm hoping its back to normal, but then again, I don't want to find out my cycle length this month if that makes sense!!
