Hi
This is my first month doing IUI (without meds)I had a scan on Friday (day 9) and as there was a follicle of 18mm they said they would do the IUI that day incase I ovulated over the weekend(I guess it being Friday was a bummer)
She gave me the hcg trigger shot and it was only 2 hours later that they did the IUI. I thought all was well but am now pretty pe'ed off as everything I look up points to not doing the IUI for at least 12 hrs if not 36 hours afte the trigger shot. It makes me wonder what a waste doing it in the first place....what are other peoples experiences with this - any advice? My DH and I made sure we have had sex every day since Friday but I am finding it hard to remain positive and it looks like its tough luck if it happens to be a Friday....mind you I guess its the NHS so shouldn't complain.....How long has anyone else waited between trigger shot and the actual IUI?

No advice but bumping for you. Do you have a clinic nurse you can ring and ask about this?
