Will they show up positive a week before your period is due?

sometimes but not always mine did with this pregnancy but not with my other 2, my advice is to try an early response one and then try every 2 days.

I've just done a test and guess what... it shows up as positive, yippppeee, I have felt preggers after 1 week of trying, explains the nausea in the mornings although never had it first time around, also explains my craving for anything chocolate and fruit juices, this is the second pregnancy when i have conceived first attempt :-)

I feel very blessed, fingers crossed now as it is very early on.

Thanks very much, in disbelief still at how soon i conceived and haven't even told hubby yet but we're both at work so will wait (bursting!) until i get home.

Can't - he isn't in his usual office today so don't have his tel no, it would be nice for our son to hear as well at the same time although he probaby won't understand, keen to involve him every step of the way so he feels involved.

I just want to tell everyone, NOW!

hi i got early pg tests on ebay. Once i got a pos it was also confirmed by a clearblue digi a week before period was due.

I got a +ve four days before with a first response

cant remember name but they will have been the ones that pick up hormone from 10ml as most do it 25-50ml.

nemo (sorry to barge in ladies) munz was saying how you had symptomsv v early on i could do with a chat if you dont mind as im only on cd 15 and last peak fertile day was cd day 8 now ive got relly sore boobs never had thi b4 usually week b4 af but surely its far too ealy for anything isnt it? (apologies again ladies ran out again now)

so with these early tests, (the ones before period is due) if you get a positive can it be wrong? I havent done one but just wondered....

i knew from 3 days past ov that I was pg due to feeling sick, sore boobs and general other symptons. Then the test came up positive at 8days past ov. So it is possible to be feeling it already yes.

jam if the test says positive within the time allowance then it is positive. However be very careful of evaporation lines which can seem positive but it is because when the wee dries it can leave a line of evaporation...these can be ver y convincing believe me..good luck

does anyone think that the cheap early tests dont work and are not as good as the branded ones? I did an early one and got bfn....just wondering what the thoughts where?

I sometimes used to get sore boobs in the second half of my cycle and was convinced I was pregnant every time. I eventually found out that apparently raised progesterone in the second half of the cycle can do this.

I really really hope yours is a pg, but wanted to give you this info just in case.
