Im so sorry Im becoming a pain with all these questions....

My cycle is usually 28 days long, my period is now two weeks late and I am 29 DPO. I took a +/- test and thought I saw a + line but was unsure if it was an evap line (it was thick and the same colour as the test line) but I was three days early. When my period was a day late I had an appointment with the nurse at my GP's for a check up so she did a blood HCG test which came back negative.
I have been suffering with occasional nausea, heavy boobs, backache, cramping, alot of CM and a feeling that my period is imminent (even though its not arrived) and t wice in three days my when I went to the toilet and wiped there was a little bit of blood. I took a FRER test a few days ago and it came back negative but I have taken a cheaper brand one that came back positive, then the positive line vanished after about ten mins and so I took another one yesterday and the same thing happened. at first I was concerned that it was another evap line so I took a photo of it as it started to fade first one taken at 5 mins second at 8mins and the third at 20 mins. (tried to attach the pics but I couldnt), I know they say you shouldnt read a test after 10 mins but then most say that a positive will stay positive am so confused!
I have been really relaxed about it as I know that nothing stops AF coming quite like stress. but now am really worried as have MC'd in the past and two of those have been picked up by +'s that faded over time. I have tried to get an appointment at the docs or with the nurse but cannot get in for over a week! and am now starting to worry. has anyone ever heard of this before?

i have no answer for you. All my tests are coming back negative but no AF. My frined said she had negative till she was 7 weeks pg. another lady on here has said she had negative till she was 22 weeks. At least you are having a positive result, so there is some hope. I can only suggest taking a test every morning and seeing if that line gets stronger - read it at the proper time, and dont go back to the test!!!(it will only confuse you). BTW my negatives are always negative it doesnt change to positive and i can see no evaporation lines at all.

asteri after you've ovulated, stress won't affect when AF arrives. Stress only affects when you ovulate. So stress away . Seriously, if you are wound up it's not that which affecting the delay.

Actually I would phone the docs and push for an earlier appointment. Sometimes if you just ask to see them they'll tell you a week even though they can fit you in sooner. If necessary get an emergency appointment with docs or nurse so they can do another blood test. No problem getting an emergency if you've MCd before, seems reasonable to me. Good luck.

Thanks girls and thanks givecarrotsachance ( love carrots btw) I can happily stress away, btw, my colleague bought a cantaloupe melon in this morning that smelled delicious, but now the smell feels a bit too sweet and is starting to make me feel a bit queasy (though no one else can smell it now), is that normal?

There are a couple of spaces in your links that make them show errors. In the second one, "h ttp" and in the third one "pho tobucket"

If you close the gaps it will be easier for others to view them.

That said, the first two look positive to me, congratulations, I hope it sticks.

asteri I have always been told that a positive is a positive. And you've also found out why not to look at it after its allocated time!

I would get that emergency doc's appointment though, given your history. That's perfectly reasonable.

Hopefully everything will be fine.
