Faint BFP not getting any stronger

I had a BFP on Thurs and every day since. I'm sure it's positive and not an evaporation line but it isn't getting any darker as time goes on. AF was due on Thurs. I am using cheap ebay tests.
Should I stop worrying and just assume it'll get darker in due course or is it a sign that all is not well?

It could be that the tests don't have a lot of die on them rather than anything amiss.
Some tests just don't anf if you have a load out the same batch they couls all just have low die in them.

don't have a massive amount of experience - am sure others will be able to give more informed answers - but would think it may take a while to get that darker line. (I got a faint line 2 days before AF due, but then didn't test again for 2 weeks just before I was due to see midwife - line was MUCH stronger then).

Congrats on the BFP - try not to worry, that won't help make the line stronger. Relax and take it easy x

Ooo- that's a thought. The control is still dark though.

I had this with DC3. In the end I gave up testing. He is nearly 6 months old now and very much here. Congratulations.

yesway out of curiosity I dug out my BFP( I am 19+3 pg today) and looked the line is still as faint as it was when I did the test!! A line is a line it doesn't matter how strong the line is, you could drive yourself mental!!!

Same here Yesway - I am due on today but had a "feeling" I was pg last week - have taken 6 tests in all over the last week (how sad is that?)

First 4 were cheapies - Did one last Monday, inconclusive result couldnt see for looking but decided it was evap. Did another Weds - very feint +ve then 2 on Thurs (one FMU, one later in day) very feint +ve's.

Friday did a Tesco one - feint +ve then this morning did the other Tesco one with FMU - Definately +ve but still feint though a tiny little bit darker than Friday. I think... lol.

Reading all that back I seem a lil obsessive...

This is my 3rd pg this year. I m/c in March and July so am in a bit of a panic about it all but I think after all that testing I can safely say its a BFP.

In the end I did a digital one that actually says the word pregnant!

I just did another one. It is still paler than the control but came up faster this time. Inspired by hoops I have just dug through the bin and compared them all. It is getting darker.
Sorry for making a fuss - taking time to sink in I guess.
