how good/bad are the ebay tests?

you know the little thin stick type wons that measure from 10 whatever it is?

period due about tues so thought i would try one today and it was negative, i thought with them being so sensitive it would have showed up if i was pregnant, have not had a lot of sex this month and dont have any symptoms but i suppose there is always a chance.

do you think it would have shown up or are they not as good as they make out?

They are fine - they are actually the same as the thing which is inside the more expensive tests. You pay extra for the plastic wand and to avoid the risk of getting wee on your finger.

I bought some of the early ones, they were v cheap but v effective!
Got a BFP about a week before period was due!!

oh well that seems like the final nail in the coffin.

I've not used these (yet!), but fundamentally until you bleed (and then sometimes even then) you could still be pregnant. There are LOTS of posts about people who tested negative, negative, negative and were pregnant.

However if you've not has "much sex" you are of course lowering your chances ... unless your name is Mary... ?

My ebay + test is nearly 2

I have a 2yr old Ebay test and another on the way in 4 months :-)
