Congrats to Shirazz and Mummy369. Fab news and sticky vibes. I am definitely not an early tester- can't bear to see BFN and will just wait it out instead.

nattiecake · 29/11/2009 00:09

UmBongo · 29/11/2009 10:28

Congrats to Shirazz and mummy369

Well, I am on day 14 and we have a serious case of man flu in the house. How much lemsip can you force feed your dh before either he or his swimmers expire?

Muser · 29/11/2009 11:44

Congrats Mummy369. Afraid I'm not going to be added to the BFPs this month. AF arrived a week early today and with a vengeance. I'm back to CD1 and if cycle 3 is my lucky one it'll be a September baby. I've set up the September bus, but hope not to see many of you on it!

Bigmuther don't do it!! I am tempted myself, as i couldn't finish a piece of dark chocolate toblerone last night because it tasted 'dusty' was nearly sick mucking the horses out this morning and my tomato soup tasted off. I don't dare get my hopes up though. Although i am going into town this afternoon and may have to buy some Boots BOGOF FR tests......

Muser · 29/11/2009 12:46

Be strong ladies! Hold out a few more days yet.

PollyPoo · 29/11/2009 13:37

Congrats Shirazz and Mummy - great news! Lets hope we get some more BFPs soon

bigmuther65 · 29/11/2009 13:40

I will hold on a few more days, can,t promise i can hold out till weekend .TMI warning, is being constipated a early signdon,t normally suffer this proplem also boobs are slightly sensitive.

ilovethebeach · 29/11/2009 14:28

Can be bigmuther. I suffered really badly when newly pg with DC1. Though I did again in our first cycle TTC no.3. Really got my hopes up but nada. But definitely think it's a common symptom- good luck

FanjolinaJolie · 29/11/2009 19:12

Shirazz - re the natural progesterone creams, you need to be very sure that you're applying it after ovulation as it can surpress ovulation if you use it too early in your cycle. If you are using from +ve on the OPK you might be using it too early.

When I was using NPC it I waited until I had detected ovulation using the temperature method then began using the cream from 3dpo onwards. I have had two dd's and used the cream when TTC both so who knows if it did help me or not. If you do get a BFP while using the cream you must continue using until the 12th week so as not to trigger a miscarriage with the drop in progesterone.

Hope you get your BFP very soon.

SparklyAlice · 29/11/2009 19:43

Bigmuther i have weakened and bought the FR from boots will hold out as long as possible (although i am very weak on the willpower front)

manchestermummy · 29/11/2009 19:44

Am still here too! Currently on day 44, have done about million ebay cheapies. Thought I saw a faint line on one but have decided that was an evaporation line as all the others including 2 FRs were BFNs. Am waiting until Wednesday and am going to the docs if nothing turns up. Am wondering if I perhaps ovulated late or something - would this be possible?

Shirazz · 29/11/2009 20:09

Fanjolina - Thanks for the info - I did get a bfp on Fri, and I intend to keep using it however I ran out on Fri and haven't anymore until arriving until tomorrow so I am having a small panic now and hoping the weekend will be ok with out it????? I never really used all that much just a squirt once a day and re the usage - I just followed what the bottle said and used it from day 12 (eek) I am hoping it is not possible to have too much?

FanjolinaJolie · 29/11/2009 21:58

Shirazz - yay for your BFP!! Wonderful news.

I remember missing applying the cream a few days here and there just from forgetting. With DD1 I was very careful but with DD2 much more relaxed and started cutting down on the 'squirt' amount from eight weeks onward and had finished using it by twelve weeks. I wouldn't stop dead though, cut down gradually.

PoppyIsApain · 29/11/2009 22:08

So happy to hear the great news off everyone, it is reminding me of the joy i desperately want to achieve.

Shirazz · 29/11/2009 22:33

Fanjolina oh good - I was considering going to the GP tomorrow to ask him as I have been in a panic but suspect he will think i'm a nutter dh has done some research and he is a doc (however the wrong sp) but he reckons the curve of it dropping your levels with a few days missed would be very slight. he also reckons that although it says 25 mg from one squirt, there is no where near that amount absorbed and it takes several months of use to build up to a decent level anyway. I feel more comforted from what you have said rather than him though Also, I have no evidence that my body doesn't make the normal amount itself anyway, so I would imagine that even stopping using it wouldn't make much difference unless you were deficient to start with? But I may be wrong... and a nutter Anyway, here's hoping that it shows up in the post tomorrow....

lovely to see those BFPs - well done and very sticky thoughts to you all.

house full of cold this end, so am not very confident that we'll get the required action in at the right time...

oh well there's always the September bus...

wishing you all jolly weeks x

SparklyAlice · 30/11/2009 08:21

Morning ladies

Feeling a bit jittery today as AF arrived on CD23 last cycle and i have got a bit of pain, although more like ovulation pain than AF pain tbh. Not holding out any hope this time though. Was feeling quite positive yesterday, but because of the pains and the fact AF arrived this time last cycle, just a bit bleugh.

Have a good day everyone

PlantASeedWatchItGrow · 30/11/2009 08:40

Congratulations on the BFP!!

Sorry to those of you feeling rough, it's not good!

Well I'm still waiting for AF, went to the doctors on Friday, he left me feeling so stupid and dissapointed. Basically just said if I've had -tive tests then I'm definitely not PG. He said I will just have to wait for AF to arrive and it could be next cycle, so basically missed a period. I told him I was sure I had ov'ed on day 16, and could you still not get a period even though I ov'ed and he said yes. So I am feeling crap right now. Just a waiting game now, basically he said I should wait another month for AF?? WTF!! Feel blurgh and hate my body right now!

Sorry to post in such a bad mood, I havn't posted all weekend because I have felt so crap about it all.

SparklyAlice · 30/11/2009 08:50

plant poor you, that is really rubbish. Is there anything you can do that will cheer you up a little? Lunch out? The cinema, christmas shopping If it is just a waiting game, make the most of the waiting iyswim?

PlantASeedWatchItGrow · 30/11/2009 09:19

Thanks Sparkly working all week unfortunatly! Although I will probably be going shopping later in the week, but only for the hundreds of Christmas presents I seem to have to buy every year!

It is really rubbish, I just wish that if I'm not PG then Af will hurry up and arrive so that I can get trying again!

How are you feeling? Any more pain?

randomimposter · 30/11/2009 09:27

oh dear plant... not sure that Doctor is totally correct though..? Have heard lots of people you have continued to test negative and are pregnant - I hope you are one of these cases...
Sorry he wasn't very sympathetic though...

Chin up x
