How long does it take for your period after stopping the Pill?

Have been back on the pill for about a year since dd2 was born.
Stopped it last month to try for dc3. Had period on Sep 18th which was Friday.
So period is late either way you look at it.

Did a preg test on Monday which was negative.Am a bit clueless it appears. Anyway both dds were conceived first month of trying but judging by test not so this time.

How long did it take everyone to get a period after stopping the pill? (the one you take for 21(?) days then have a period)

Hi girls I had a withdrawal bleed a few days after I stopped taking my pill (which was also the kind that is 21 days then a period/withdrawal bleed). then i had another period 28 days after the withdrawal bleed. however, from reading others' responses on here, it seems that it can vary widely from person to person. it could also be that if you ov'd later in your cycle, it might be too early to test and that's why it came up negative. I wouldn't give up hope about the negative test yet, especially given your past experience with your two dds. Good luck!

well after all that wondering I got my period this evening.
