Conceiving after depo provera

How long have people here found that it took them to conceive after coming off depo provera? I've been taking it for around three years. And how long did it take for their periods to return?

took my sister a year from last injection to having her first period - she got pregnant the following month.

My periods returned after 4 months.

Horrible stuff.

I was on Depo for a long time, around 8 years. Though it caused me some problems, for medical reasons my contraceptive choices are restricted. I came off it and switched to using a Mirena coil - got my next period 10 months later.

I had the coil in for a while and then it took me 7 months from having it removed to conceiving.

This is pretty old, but I'd like to re-kindle it!
I had my last depo injection almost 9 months ago, and still no sign of a period. I know it can take a long time, is there anything I can do except wait...?
