How do I get pregnant while bfeeding a 13 month old at least 2 times a night?

no period, co-sleeper, afraid of CIO or CC but still would like to have ddc-did anyone manage it while still bfeeding through the night?

Do you have any other rooms you could have some nookie in? We used to use spare room when DS was in our room though he had long moved out before TTC. Also, DTD after your DC has gone to bed in another room so that you still have energy.

If you really want another child then you might have to bite the bullet with bf. I did bf my DS til he was 13.5 months and occasionally at night but stopped and was lucky he didn't cause too much fuss. So am not against bf. But you might need to cut down to get your periods back.

was wondering the same thing.... dd is 14 months, am also feeding at night,kind of co sleeping, not up for cio etc.. took us 5 yrs to conceive first time, and am knocking on a bit, so don't want to wait, but no sign of period at all. is there a magic button or pill or something?!

My period didn't return until my DS was 12 months old and he started sleeping through the night regularly (and we stopped co-sleeping at around 12 months), so only required milk before bed and in the morning. I got pregnant on the first cycle, but sadly I had a MMC at 13 weeks. After much soul-searching I decided to stop BF'ing my DS at 16.5 months so that I would have a better chance at conceiving again. Although there is no clear cut evidence to prove that BF'ing while pregnant causes MC (in fact many of my friends have had successful pregnancies whilst BF) I really just wanted my body to be fully receptive to conception and subsequent pregnancy. I am 37 so I also felt the pressure of older eggs, etc. We got pregnant again first cycle post MC and I am currently 24 weeks. I am not advocating that you stop BF or co-sleeping, I am just telling you our story.

My periods started when DC1 was about 6 or 7 months - we started trying for DC2 as soon as that happened, but I didn't conceive until after I stopped bfing him - could have been a coincidence though
