if not testing first thing, then when?

I've missed my chance to do pg test first thing this morning but on the packet it says it can be done anytime of day. When shoulde I do it then? Do I need to leave a certain amount of time since I last had a wee?

it is better to do it first thing as the hormone levels are higher, but anytime of day is ok, if its too early (before missed period) it may not show up so could try and early response test x
