Urgent SET with one 10 cell or go for broke and put the 7 cell in too ?

Am off for a shower, egg transfer at 2.30pm, am very excited !!!

Have you had any previous cycles? Is this a Day 3 transfer?

Great news with a 10 cell though. Have they graded the embryos?

No grading yet (i feel like a proud parent already lol), my first go with FET and yes day 3. 10 is good isn't it, I wanted to get to blasts but I figure grade 10 is fine too.

A 10 cell is very good for day 3.

Presumably when you go for FET the embryologist will discuss whether there is a possibility of freezing the 7 cell?

The decision of whether to go for 1 or 2 isn't a simple one. Depends on your age, dx, are you higher risk so that a multiple pg would cause problems, how many cycles can you afford etc.

Good luck for this afternoon though! It is very weird seeing your embryos at that stage.

We went for 2, can't afford another cycle and am young so very good chance of both hatching, it was strange seeing them on screen
