Ok, so does BDing position really make a difference?

Like the title says really.. I was browsing through a how to conceive book today and it said that couples TTC should stick to missionary (boring ) to have the best chance of a BFP.. Is this just an old-wives tale, or if there was something in it? Thoughts anyone?

DS was conceived in doggy position. One shot wonder. Theres proof it's not just missionary position that conception occurs

doggy can also be used for the final moment of glory as can any other position...hard fast and deep and you can't go wrong!

Totally agree with the needing imagination! Belgianbun, good plan, am already staying flat for 20 mins after (sending DH off to make dinner normally ) but will try that this month...

Best positions for conceiving are ... exactly the two you have mentioned missionary and rear entry. If you have evern been told you have a tilted cervix (about 40% of women do and are often told during smears that their cervix is a bit "tricky to reach") the rear entry position is the best one - deposits most of the sperm as close as poss to the cervix. Doesn't hurt to stay lying down for a bit to avoid the effects of gravity and ... an orgasm for you after he has ejaculated will make your cervix "suck" up even more semen!
