ttc but possible surgery - advice?

we'd like to start trying for baby no.3 asap. I'm 39, and have two dcs, both conceived first try. However, I may need to have unavoidable surgery and general anaesthetic, and should know next week, right after my most fertile time.......what would you do?

I would stop thinking about the "fertile time", its way too easy to get this completely wrong. Do not put such pressures on yourself.

If you need the surgery then ttc in a month's time is not going to make much difference at all really. You need to recover from the op first.

thanks - because the 'fertile time' worked both previous times i have to go with that!
