DH on prednisolone...

Hi,
My DH has Ulcerative Colitis and is currently on a course of prednisolone due to a flare up. This coincides with us thinking about starting to try for baby number 2....
just wondering if anyone knows whether prednisolone has an effect on fertility or a healthy pregnancy, or if anyone has any stories to share?

Someone I know was actually prescribed prednisolone for male infertility as apparently his immune system was killing his sperm. They went on to have a healthy boy.

Is he under a hospital clinic that has a specialist IBD nurse? They are usually helpful with such questions.
