ttc - stopped contraception 9 1/2 weeks ago - anyone who is testing?

Hi all,

I stopped contraception 9 1/2 weeks ago. I have had numerous spotting during this time. Got my period on the 34th day and awaiting my next period (only now the 29th day) on monday the 31st of Aug. I have been feeling nausious since last week. Since i stopped contraception my breasts are swelling and sore and i have been very tired. I have done 3 hpt and 2 blood tests all negative, the last blood test was the 13th of Aug. Could this all be in my mind?

hpt only usually work once your period is due so that would mean that before Monday they would be unlikely to pick up hormone levels unless you have bought the early tests however, I am pretty sure that blood tests pick up far smaller levels of hormones and are more accurate. Saying that, 30 years ago my neighbour's blood tests said she wasn't pregnant and she was already 5 months. Fingers crossed.
