Implantation Bleed? - Anyone experienced this?

WE are TTC #1 and last night I had a bit of a bleed not a lot and was pink not like AF. Any thoughts if this is implanation bleed? Any ideas how long it should last as seems to have gone over night and hasn't reappeared yet?

Where are you in your cycle? If it's around day 10 or so it maybe it. Hard to tell. These things are so non-specific. I didn't have one but others have so will prob give better advice!

roughly day 16 I think

I had this bluefalcon when pg with ds; it came just about time period was due if I remember correctly. Was brownish and only lasted a day. Good luck

Sometimes I get this just before my period. But day 16 seems to early for that. When did you ovulate as it won't be til about 6 days after that when implantation happens (I think).

Not sure when I ovulated thought it was only the weekend but not sure as only came off the pill in July so think periods may still be all over the place but not sure. Last cycle was 33 days and today is day 17. We've been BDing about twice a week since AF finished though

Any ideas?

I have had implantation bleeding. For me it was a couple of days of light spotting around day 26. Day 16 sounds too early - unless you ovulated around day 8-10. You can also very occasionally have spot of blood when you ovulate - which could be around day 16 of a 33 day cycle. I had this one month and it was overnight then gone in the a.m., like you describe.

Hi, i had implantation bleeding before which was like brown spotting for a day, i then went on to miscarry unfortunately. We are TTC again and i just recently had 2 days of light bleeding around the same time as you are on your cycle. I looked into it abit and seems it is too early for implantation but could be down to ovulation. I've never had bleeding at this time before but ive put it down to all thats gone on in last few months - so i'm a bit confused too! I'm not an expert though so i'd say wait until around your AF due and take a test. Good luck!

I had brown spotting for a few days (with cramping) which was more than likely implantation bleeding, around the time of AF when I was pg with DS. He is now 2yo.

I'm using Fertility Friend to chart and they have some useful FAQs from which I quote:

"Some possible signs of implantation or successful conception are:

light spotting that happens for just a brief period of time around seven to ten days past ovulation.

a second thermal shift that occurs around seven to ten days past ovulation.

a dip in temperature that lasts just a single day, around seven to ten days past ovulation."

I have had implantation bleeding a few times, but the pregnancy hasn't progressed.

Each time, it was pink, and unlike any other bleeding that I get at any other time.

I had bleeding when this pregnancy implanted (i'm 13+2). Again it was pink, then there was some fresh red blood and it all stopped.

At my 8wk scan, they said that the implantation must have been quite aggressive because there was bruising on the inside of the uterus.

But with my ds, I had no implantation bleeding at all!

Pink sounds promising though if it's not what you normally get!!
