Can you use Persona if you have no idea about your cycle?

I'm waiting to have my Mirena removed, and would like to use the time by getting to know my cycle a bit.

Can't afford CBDFM, but noticed you can get used Personas for a lot less. Would there be any point getting one now and starting to try to track my cycle, even though I've still got the Mirena in and haven't a damn clue when ov happens if at all?

And if there is any point, do I just keep using the sticks until I've got a red light, or what?

TIA

No, you need 2 cycles between 23-35 days in length before you can start to use persona for reliable contraception. You can't use it until you have had 2 cycles without hormonal interference of any kind.

Really? That makes sense, thank you. Actually want to use it for TTC, not contraception, but I suppose that doesn't make any difference?

No, the machine can't reliably track your cycle if it is artificially influenced by hormonal contraception. Once it is clear, the machine can start to track and predict.
