Conceiving number 2 after using clomid for DS1

After trying for 2 years for DS1 (now 17 months) I finally conceived after 1 round of clomid at 50 mg.

Am now wondering will I need it for number 2? No cause was ever found for why I wasn't pregnant naturally.

Any stories of people who used clomid for number 1 and then started trying for number 2 would be appreciated so I know what we could be in for.

Well I managed to get pregnant with DS with no effort after struggling to conceive DD for quite a while (Clomid was tried but didn't work for us) and I believe it's quite common for the second one to come easier.

Perhaps you need to try for a few months and see what happens - you can always go back on the Clomid after all. Especially if it worked first time. But be aware of the twins issue with fertility drugs.
