after metformin??

has anyone taken clomid and metformin and had them both fail to induce ovulation?? if so, what's the next step???

Waiting for Dr to call me back with some ideas but right now I'm ready to cry....

Am reading this a bit late and was very sorry to read that the clomid/metformin combo was unsuccessful.

I can think of two other things offhand:-
injectible drugs
ovarian diathermy surgery

Has doc called you back yet?. If so what was suggested?

No call back yet but don't think he was due in until this afternoon......

I have a feeling he may tell me to stick with it for another month and maybe combine it with Clomid this time round. Makes sense I guess and I know it can take a while to start working....just wish I didn't have to think about it all month all over again.

Wishful thinking though so i best just get my head round it and get on with it I guess...
