Lottielou · 27/05/2005 14:14

Oh how cool, i've always wanted to do that! Well i'm sure you'll have a lovley weekend! Make sure you relax and enjoy it x

Diddle · 27/05/2005 14:17

i'll try. feeling a bit annoyed with DH at the moment, he's very snappy and moody, mainly because he's not well, and feels run down. but him taking it out on me is making me feel really down, and not doing me any good. I have told him this but it has made no difference.
I can't wait till our holiday in a few weeks, just to be away from the stresses of work and home will do him and me the world of good. He needs this break, just so i can have my real DH back not this stressed out one.

Hello to all!!

I have now entered the dreadful 2 week wait as think i ovulated yesterday. My temperature shot up so I think little eggy was released.

Plenty of rumpy pumpy been going on so who knows I may just get my much dreamed about BFP!

Feel like we have really really tried our best this month......period due 10th June so going to be strong and not test until after that date.....probably kidding myself but going to try my best to not waste money on tests and keep disappointing myself with BFN's.

Hoping you are all ok and staying positive!

I feel like in a few weeks there are going to be a few BFP's on here!!!!!!!!! I just know it!!!

A special loopy hello to Lottie and Diddle......

BEKsmum · 29/05/2005 21:03

Evening girls hope you don't mind me gatecrashing for a moment but just wanted to pop on and say hi to Diddle and Xena and to see how they are? Hope you both had good weekends.

We're missing you guys on the thread so please come over and chat to us sometimes. I know it must be difficult to come back & chat to us but perhaps we can make another thread that we can all just have general chat on.

Right better go before you lot kick me off. Love to all and sending lots of baby dust & hoping to hear good news from you in the near future. Enjoy the Bding!

charlie72 · 29/05/2005 21:44

Hi

My god you lot can talk!!!!!!!!

Its taken me ages to scroll down this list.

Just to let you know there is light at the end of a horrid tunnel.

I had my first mc aged 18 (I know, very young) - no reason for it, just no heartbeat at my supposed 11 wk scan (later found baby died at 7 weeks) . Had my dd aged 20 . Had another mc at 23 (8 wks) and another the following year (5 wks) - I was advised to take low dose asprin 3 mths before trying to conceive and then for the first 12 wks and now have ds aged 3

There are 10 yrs between my lovely babies (my teenager will ALWAYS be my baby!!) but we got there in the end!!! Looking back, I never really enjoyed any of my pregnancies for the first few months (except my first one of course) - but the further along you get, the more optimistic you become.

I went to a genetics counsellor after my 3rd mc who said its so important to leave at least 3 cycles after a mc before trying again - your body needs time to recover. Not what you want to hear but that's life for you!!!

My fingers, toes and anything else that can be are crossed for those who are ttc .

Byeeeee

spacecadet · 29/05/2005 21:59

Hi Xena, hope you're enjoying your weekend.

Rachelrog - glad to hear you have been BDing and maybe we will all be testing aroundthe same time, great fun.

Lottielou - i presume you're off work today, so will speak to you tomorrow.

Hi to everyone i have forgotten.
MaddyD how are you doing?? have you tested yet. i'm thinking of you. crossing everything for your BFP!

OP posts:
Diddle · 30/05/2005 10:18

sorry - and charliecat, thank you for your words of wisdom, its good to know that there is light at the end of our tunnels. We'll all get there one day. So sorry to hear about your losses.

OP posts:
charlie72 · 30/05/2005 10:22

Xena - did you mean me???

If so, no don't think we'll try for anymore - I've got one of each now, am in my (ahem) mid thirties and think its time we sat back & relaxed for a while. Have just been on our first holiday abroad for 5 years and I think I've got the travel bug - def want to go away again this year. Think I'm going to be selfish now, look after my babies & enjoy myself into the bargain.

On the other hand, I don't want to think that I'll never be pg again, as worrying as it was, it had its good times, you know, the scans (except for that awful feeling you're going to pee your pants!!) when they move & kick & just that overall feeling of completeness. Flipping heck, I think I've convinced myself to have another!!!

Only joking .

Am off now with ds to go and feed the ducks & see if I can scrounge lunch at the inlaws - DH is in Crete at the moment with some of his friends. Jammy bugger!

charlie72 · 30/05/2005 10:30

Before we go the see the ducks, I just wanted to let you all know that as painful as your losses are at the moment, it does get easier as time passes, trust me, I've been there.

I can now talk about each & every one of them without feeling the need to burst into tears or sink into a deep depression but its taken its time. My couselling taught me that everything happens for a reason & whatever the cause of a mc, its usually because something just isn't right at that particular time.

Please don't think I'm preaching - I really hated it when people told me "never mind, you can always try again" & wanted to scream at them " I don't want to try again, I want it back" but instead you just put on that brave face and agree with them.

I know 'm lucky because I've got my babies now and as much a pain as they can be, I wouldn't change a thing.

Lots of love & positive vibes to you all!!!!!!!!!

Diddle · 30/05/2005 15:03

thank you charlie they're much appreciated. have a great time feeding the ducks.

its very quiet on here today. i hope that you're all enjoying the sun

OP posts:
Twiga · 30/05/2005 15:08

Hey Diddle, hope you're doing well today. Kinda enjoying the sun, when it bothers to peep out from under the big black clouds threatening to soak my washing! I guess I live at the wrong end of the country!

How's everything going Tabs? Sickness kicked in yet?

Big hello to everyone else, hope you're enjoying the bank hol - isn't one here in Scotland but I've got the day off anyway!

spacecadet · 30/05/2005 15:28
