hope you're all having a good evening

I also wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to you all for being such great people. You have supported me so much, and i know without you (and my DH) i wouldn't have got through the last few months. Its been a tough time for all of us and i'm so pleased to have "met" you all.

thank you

Humphrey- Good luck today!
Diddle- {{{{Hugs}}}} you've been a great support to. I agree, the last couple of months have been made so much easier talking to others who have been through exactly the same and understand. Thankyou to!
Xena- Great to see you! How are you?
Well, sent a pic to someone to get resized so hopefully will have little ds2 (Damian) on the profile!
After having a really bad night (Saturday) with his new tooth, he's slept brilliantly last night. Popped a thin pillow in with him and he loves it! Not a peep out of him (and he did'nt fidget!). His last two came through at the same time (first top molars) and he never moans or anything, first bottom molar was fine to but this last one seemed to bother him. Poor love was grizly and tearful yesterday so hopefully he's over the worst as it's poking through now.
Have a great Monday all!
Is it just me or has this w/end gone to quickly?
Love to everyone else to. x

maddyd · 13/06/2005 07:57

I went to bed at 7 o'clock last night and im still tired. God i need to snap out of this.

What we need is a joke to start the day mind you i doubt i can beat the shower one, so funny and so true.

Twenty reasons why chocolate is better than sex!!

  1. You can GET chocolate.

  2. If you love me you'll swallow that has real meaning with chocolate.

  3. Chocolate satisfies even when it has gone soft.

  4. You can safely have chocolate while you're driving.

  5. You can make chocolate last as long as you want it to.

  6. You can have chocolate even in front of your mother.

  7. If you bite the nuts too hard, chocolate won't mind.

  8. Two people of the same sex can have chocolate without being called nasty names.

  9. The word "commitment" doesn't scare off chocolate.

  10. You can have chocolate on top of your workbench/desk during working hours, without upsetting your co-workers.

  11. You can ask a stranger for chocolate without getting your face slapped.

  12. You don't get hairs in your mouth with chocolate.

  13. With chocolate there's no need to fake it.

  14. Chocolate doesn't make you pregnant.

  15. You can have chocolate at any time of the month.

  16. Good chocolate is easy to find.

  17. You can have as many kinds of chocolate as you can handle.

  18. You are never too young or old to have chocolate.

  19. When you have chocolate it does not keep your neighbours awake.

  20. With chocolate size doesn't matter

lol Maddy!
I feel for you on the sleep front. I go to bed between 10.30 and 11pm (sometimes earlier) but keep waking between 3.30 and 4am every morning. I try to get back to sleep but once I'm awake that's it, I have to get up. with the result by lunchtime I'm wrecked and have to have a nap for at least 2 hrs. I've tried going to bed earlier/later etc. No difference. Sometimes I feel ok and will stay up but then feel shattered by 8pm. Annoying is'nt it?
I know it's not my depression returning (major sign of sleepyness) so am at a loss!

HellKat · 13/06/2005 08:06

P.s already had my happy sunshine fix! Gorgeous here so far!

maddyd · 13/06/2005 08:13

Im just tired all the time, i sleep really heavily, if the kids cry Rich gets up. Any tips for getting over it without a visit to the docs, i dont want to get bad again, i should be on top of the worls apart from the mc.

Ill make sure i get an afternoon of sunshine

HellKat · 13/06/2005 08:22

Have you tried not sleeping as much? I'm great as long as I get 5 hrs solid sleep. Sometimes you can have 9/10 hrs but it wont be good sleep. Not only that, sometimes you can sleep too much. if I've slept for 5 or more hrs a night, I make myself stay up and active. Then I'll normally get a good night's sleep.

HellKat · 13/06/2005 08:22

Do you feel your depression coming back?

maddyd · 13/06/2005 08:39

Im not sure, i think so. Ive started cutting myself off and not wanting to go out. Everything is an effort even talking. I dont want to be like this though

HellKat · 13/06/2005 08:45

Aww hun sorry to hear that. It sounds as though it's rearing it's ugly head. I get like that but been lucky for it not to develop.
If you want a chat anytime you can have my email addy.

maddyd · 13/06/2005 09:10

Thanks HellKat. I think my determination not to let it will help. Plus it is summer so thats something to be happy about. Im going to reduce my hours at work over the Summer months too so i can spend quality time with the kids as feeling guilty doesnt help how i feel.

HellKat · 13/06/2005 09:15

Your very welcome.
That'll be good reducing your hours. There's nothing like being around little one's (as long as they're in a good mood ) for boosting your spirits.
If you need me: [email protected]

I got really bad a little while ago. Just wanted to stay in bed (the only place I could be alone where no one would bother me). Did'nt want to talk to anyone, see anyone etc. Then went through the "I don't give a toss about anything" phase. It's a horrid condition! Plus you never totally get rid of it either.

HellKat · 13/06/2005 10:02

Ok, got Damian's piccy up on member profiles!
