Morning all!

Thought I'd get a quick hello in in case my broadband goes down again! Have had loads of problems with it for the last month or so, but at the moment it doesn't seem to like me logging on in the evenings, and only intermittently during the mornings! I'm lost without my forum buddies to chat to!!

Anyway, hope you all had a good weekend and that this week fulfills at least one wish for each of you!

HumphreysCorner · 06/06/2005 08:43

Morning ladies

Oo-er I am in a lot of pain at the moment-kept me awake all night so hopefully things are progressing as they should. Feeling tired, run down and extremely fat .

Not back at work until next week but when I'm there I have no access to the internet.

Anyway, come on you girls that are testing-let us have some BFP's to give me the hope to carry on.

We will all get there in the end!

Bye for now
x

Diddle · 06/06/2005 09:36

HellKat · 06/06/2005 10:39

Thanks for the warm thoughts all.
Humphreys- Hope it gets better soon. How are you feeling now?
Not sure what's happening tomorrow. Have to ring first thing for the blood results but we're sure the hormone levels are up as I had the positive test on Friday and also boobs are still leaking milk and are still sore! No idea what my body's up to.

HellKat · 06/06/2005 10:41

Will be waiting with excitement for you all on Wednesday! God I can't wait!!!

Diddle · 06/06/2005 10:42

Hellkat have you tested since Friday???
Hope everything goes ok for you tomorrow.

Quite worried about testing, don't want a BFN we'll see, i might not show pg yet anyway even if i was, as i'm no due on until a week tomorrow.

OP posts:
HellKat · 06/06/2005 10:44

Nope. Have'nt tested since then but Saturday night my milk came through (again!).
Apparently, most tests show as early as 7-10 days after ov so you should be fine!

Diddle · 06/06/2005 10:52

7-10 days, that just makes it more worrying because if i don't get that BFp will be
But when i have had BFP before it hasn't shown up until after my AF was due so i will ahve to remember that when i get my BFN on Weds.
So stressful this TTC and testing lark.

OP posts:
HellKat · 06/06/2005 10:54

I know what you mean! But will all be worth it in the end.

Diddle · 06/06/2005 10:55

it better be, i don't know how you have kept going HK, i can't cope with my 2m/c's i can't imagine how many times the rest of you have felt like giving up. Its so depressing.

OP posts:
HellKat · 06/06/2005 11:00

Well if this positive result is due to an ectopic or a failed new pg then it'll be mc no.5. Believe me, it's been so tempting to give up. I would've but I really want ds2 to have a brother or sister.
It is an awful thing for a family to go through.

HellKat · 06/06/2005 11:03

Thing I hate most about mc's is that is makes you so cynical! It takes away the excitement, awe and wonder of early pg. Instead of looking forward to every week etc you just expect the worse and look upon weeks as milestones (thinking if I can get to such and such week that's further than before etc).

HumphreysCorner · 06/06/2005 11:06

Hi all

Have just read on another thread about taking codeine as a painkiller. I have some left from 2 years ago after DD was born so will try some even though one of the side effects is constipation!

HellKat- the milk production is so annoying isn't it. I thought I was PG the month before I was but when I asked the midwife she said she still produced milk 5 years after her last child. I thought it dried up completely and only started again when PG but is not so. At least it will stop me having a squeeze in the future when checking for PG sypmtons (sorry TMI!)

Must go has DH has popped home to check up on me.

Hugs
x

HellKat · 06/06/2005 11:09

Lol at the squeezing!! Yep done that!
Take care.

strike1 · 06/06/2005 13:24

Afternoon Ladies, my you were all chatty over the weekend. Hello to all I don't know. I have an exercise question. I'm still bleeding from my erpc a 1 1/2 weeks agao and my doctor said take it easy (after I already gone back to the gym)so i stopped, but I feel lazy and want to get fit again. Do you think it would prolong the bleeding if I get back to the gym? I feel a bit tired at times but mostly ok.

Diddle · 06/06/2005 13:57

Hi Strike -I would probably avoid too much exercise if i were you. Going through something like you are really takes a lot out of your body, and resting as much as you can in my opinion will get you back to good health faster. Thats just my opinion though. Maybe go for a walk every day and gradually go further and faster, but i wouldn't go to the gym.
Hope that helps.
