Hi there, I'm new. I couldn't see an obvious "Introduce yourself/Newbies" thread, so my apologies if I've missed it and and making a faux pas by just blundering in like this.

I've been referred here by a friend after I complained that another TTC board I was on was driving me mental with all the "baby dancing" and baby dust gifs and hugs and smilies and happy happy let's all hug lol lol etc etc AND ON AND ON.

So my name is Sue. Well, it's not. SueDunhym is a pseudonym. But you can call me Sue. I'm on my 7th cycle TTC and have started taking Clomid this month.

Nice to meet you.

Hi Sue - I'm new ish too I only found website earlier in the week as well. I am less advanced in the TTC cycle than you as I only came off the pill a month ago and now letting nature work its magic hopefully;)

Hope to see you around the site

I'm new too! I can't do all those things Sue listed because I don't understand the terminology let alone the abreviations! Old style full words from me.

I'm not quite yet TTC, but hopefuly soon will be. Don't need to come of the pill or simialr as I've never been able to have those sorts of contraceptives, but my word I will be pleased not to have to pay £7 for just 5 condoms any more(latex free ones - they cost a fortune)!

I'm not much good with the abreviations yet but the more you read and post the more you seem to pick up. The ones i've picked up are
DH - darling husband, DP - darling partner, DS - darling son and DD - darling daughter.

Hope that helps AlisonRuth

Hi there Sue and AlisonRuth. Just stumbled upon this and thought I'd say welcome.

I too was on another site but switched to this one once I found that (most) people write in full sentences and don't sprinkle baby dust round like it's some sort of modern magic potion.

I'm on cycle 9 now and have found some amazingly supportive people on the threads I decided to join. Hope you enjoy your stay and progress quickly onto the pregnancy boards.
