can anyone tell me if the result on the stick is permanent or will it disappear with time? Will the world "pregnant" always be there?

No, I did that when I found out I was pregnant - it stays on the screen for about an hour. I took a picture with my mobile and sent it to dp because I couldn't wait to tell him.

An hour? That's so disappointing! I wanted a permanent one. The one I used with DD is still there (VERY faint pink dot now) but I've kept that in a box, so light doesn't fade it. DH thinks it's gross keeping my wee stick, but I think it's lovely.

Does anyone know of tests that will give a permanent result?

i have one of the early results one i have kept for 17 months and they both still have clear lines to say BFP!!!!!!!!!
