Anyone testing around the 1st Aug...symptom spotting and holding you breath?!?!

Me! I don't hold out much hope but if I concentrate really hard I can feel a slight tingle in boobs, been a bit itchy downstairs and apparently thrush is a symptom!
however my body has been playing tricks on me every month now since TTC and I always end up with that familiar crampy ache that tells me AF on the way

I am! First month off the pill ttc for DC2 so haven't actively been trying to 'do it' at any set time of the month as have no clue when I would fertile etc - have also been telling myself that probably v little chance of being preggars this month but still can't help monitoring every little twinge etc with excitement! Friday will be cd28 for me but I can't remember how long my cycle was before I first went on the pill but think it was around 28-30-ish days.

It's my first month off the pill, cd 22. Tested this am bfn

Having loads of symptoms but not sure if it is because of finishing the pill?!?! Don't know how long my cycles are.

Pippinn Did you af after stopping the pill? Which pill were you on?

I'm due on Friday but have no idea if I've ovulated this month. If no AF by the weekend I will test on Saturday - even though I have no symptoms to speak off!

JamieJay Lots of people don't though. Have you tested at all this month? Is there a reason why you think you may not have ovulated?

Me me! I am!
We're not properly TTC but have started being a bit 'lax' with contraception (cue me being totally obsessed already).
AF due on 1st Aug but this is my 1st month off the pill too so god knows when she will actually show up.
I find that as soon as I start to think about symptoms then they start to happen so I think its all in my head TBH!!! Keep poking my boobs to see if they are sore!!!

Good name broodytwoshoes! sky27 I have the usual symptoms that can mean both AF coming and being pregnant - so annoying!!

Unlike you guys I have been TTC for about 8 months now and the excitement has gone out of it really. We were on hols this month at fertile time so there was more than usual BD so am a bit more hopeful!

Sky27 I had the usual withdrawal bleed after stopping the pill and was on microgynam.

Have been on it for years although stopped it when decided to try for baby number 1 and got pregnant the 1st month off so don't know whether AF will return quickly or not.

I've been feeling sick on and off throughout the day for the past few days, am pretty sure my boobs are bigger and have generally been feeling washed out - but this could all be hormonal due to stopping the pill and/or AF on it's way...will just have to wait and see.

Think will try and wait until start of next week before testing as AF would officially be late by then (in theory - she could put in an appearance anytime whilst cycle sorting itself out...!)

Think I'm due AF around 2nd/3rd Aug, or maybe a few days after that (AF v erratic!).

Have been 'lazy' TTC (DC#2). Hope it is this month! Good luck to everyone

Getting cramps just now though, so it seems that maybe AF is imminent. Not had any nausea or sore boobs. Probably not my month!

I too don't know exactly when I'm due AF- cycle seems to move from 28 days right up to 33 days, so could be any time between 1st and 6th. I also am not convinced I ovulated this month, I didn't notice any egg whitey CM or sharp ovulation pains either.

I have been feeling a little sick the last few days though but could be my imagination!

This is our 1st cycle TTC DC#1, had implant out in January and assume we probably won't be lucky first time around but who knows?!

polkadotty your AFs seems like mine, I can be anything really from 27 to 33 days too in length. It's so bad because I always think there's the slightest chance and do a HPT - then it's a BFN. Serves me right for being impatient! I have only done this a few cycles in the past, other times I've been too busy with other things and then AF turns up..

tothesea Fingers crossed it's your month, I've gone through hell in the last few weeks so I can only image what youv'e gone through

Pippinn It is possible, I went and harassed 2 pharmacists about the possible symptoms when coming off bc pills and they said it was very unlikely you should get any...that said I am off to the doctors tomorrow to harass him

lovechoc maybe 'lazy' = relaxed and this has helped...good luck! I'm as impatient as you, someone save us from early hpts

Welcome polkadotty symptom spotting sucks, how long did they say it would take for you to get back to normal after the implant?

Thanks sky27 there is nothing else for it really, just have to wait to end of cycle - get over disappointment of AF - start all over again!
It doesn't help that my friends are getting pg and popping out babies left right and centre.
You do really get to know the signs of AF coming and I am sure I can feel it already.

tothesea I think I know what you mean, really depressed today, hormaones all over the place, lots of cramps - lower than they have been and my Docs appointment has been moved to friday. At least if im af by then I don't need to embarrass myself!

sky by lax I mean we were going to use condoms until af was back to normal after the pill but haven't really bothered! Hope the docs goes ok, don't worry about embarassing yourself- thats what they are there for!

Got my fingers crossed for everybody, its not over til af arrives, although it is so cruel how she gets your hopes up by symptoms being the same. Why is that I wonder?

I just had a tiny bit of pinky brown bleeding, not sure if this is the start of af or maybe implantation? As soon as I thought it might be implantation I got a bit scared...maybe I'm not ready yet? Oh dear. On second thoughts, pretty sure it is af starting, getting a bit crampy now. Hmmm.

broodytwoshoes you sound very much like me every month I'm the same as you! wondering oh is this it, oh maybe not, getting cramps could be AF, oh but then I had a twinge down there so it could be that I'm preggers....the list goes on! It's just mental torture isn't it?!

Sometimes I consider myself to be relaxed about all this then as AF is imminent then I think oh maybe it's this month...the joys of being a woman!

hi all have been on the april 2010 bus and am due to test sometime between 1st and 3rd August.

This is my first cycle TTC after MMC (have had one period) and have been driving myself crazy..

Few days after ovulation i had awful period cramps and back pain. Now have back pain, frequent trips to the loo and have been snapping at my poor dd all evening. Again could be vicious AF or could be early preg.

Bought first response to use on friday which should show up.. grrrrr the rollercoaster of it all!!

broodytwoshoes i'm in the same boat had v. light spotting this evening and cramps all day...i've been so moody and depressed. I'm not due af till monday?!?! Keep trying to convince myself its implantation.

Drs appointment moved to friday. At least i'll know by then!

Hello everyone!

Oh it's so stressful all the waiting, isn't it?!

The Dr told me over and over again that once you have the implant out, fertility returns to normal but my cycles haven't that's for sure - 34 then 33 then 28 (could we be back to normal) then 28 (oh it's looking good) THEN 33 again! Totally hopeless! So I have no idea when to test, other than wait until next Thursday if AF hasn't got me by then!

I did have something strange though - I got a bit freaked as I hadn't noticed any CM to indicate ovulation but then two days ago I noticed loads of it. I thought - I CANNOT be ovulating on CD26! So I looked online and apparently CM can be an early sign of pregnancy. Has anyone else heard/experienced this? I've also been feeling sick on an off since Monday. So I'm keeping everything crossed!

How's everyone else getting along?

polkadotty I've not been on any form of contraception for 4 years now and my AF is very similar to yours. Hope things even out for you and that it's not always going to be like this with the erratic cycles! It's truly awful, wish I had a regular cycle like most others...

I've also had CM every day for about one week now (I'm CD27 today), bit odd, can't remember having this last month or the month before. But it could be that I'm over analysing....
