Implanon and colostrum (breast milk)

I had my son in august 2008. I had the implanon implant inserted when my son was 6 weeks old...After about 4 months my milk (colostrum had dired up). 6 months on..Ive noticed ive started producing colostrum again..Is this a normal side affect of the implant? Surely its not pregnancy as i am protected...Any ideas?

Would get this checked out by the GP as an excess of the hormone prolactin can cause milk to be produced. It can be treated with tablets.
