Can you track ovulation with a Mirena in place?

Keen to start TTC (2nd time) and am going to make appt to have Mirena removed ASAP.

Embarrassed that I don't know this, but do you still ov wit Mirena in? Is there a good way of tracking the pattern?

I think most women do ovulate with Mirena although it does suppress ovulation for a few. Maybe you could track the ovulation using normal methods such as OPK or temperature, but I'm not sure.
