im becoming a egg donor im having all the test done next month to say i can do it im 5ft 6 slim im 23 i have 4 children i caught straight away with them all i want to offer other people a chance to have a family like i got if u need to know anything or want to considor using me leave me a message xx

Hi - I am really interested and would like to discuss this further. I posted a message a while ago looking for a donor in the Manchester area. I am not sure how it all works yet. I am 36 and have very low AMH levels which means that it will be nearly impossible for me to conceive using my own eggs. On top of that my boyfriend has got azoospermia so is not producing any sperm!. We were absolutely devestated when we found out that we couldn't have kids and our clinic has said that our best chance is to find an egg donor and use donor sperm.

Hi, I too is looking for an egg donar as my AMH levels are too low and my husband has a low count...

we have had a failed attempt at IVF at St Mary's in Manchester, and when we found out we were both devestated, we still are, as we are both so very very desperate to have our little family... just feels like everything is against us at the minute as we dont know where to start looking for a a donor never mind asking friends if they would become one for us... how do you ask the question without them feeling awkward?

Dear Surran and dear all,

I am reviving this chat because I a woman in the same position of many others in this chat: looking for an egg donor after two stem cell transplants for cancer treatment left me without ovarian function.

We have very recently post an add on Mumsnet and are currently been helped by a charity (National Gamete Donation Trust, www.ngdt.co.uk) to recruit someone (they provide you with their posters and an anonymous reference number for you to display). We are based in London, but NGDT operates in the national territory. Ever heard about that?

I just wanted to say how wonderful is for a person in our position to find an add with someone looking for people to donate to!! Women like us (and their partners) go through a very painful and psychologically draining process, especially if you don't have so much money to consider treatment outside the UK...

So I just wanted to thank Surran, and everyone like her, for giving us so much hope and showing us how many amazing people willing to help us out there. I think this is one of the most important thing to know for women (and man) going through this.
