Anyone had very faint positive pregnancy test??

Hi,
Very confused Ive done 2 tests both have really faint positive signs. I thought I might have been imagining the line until my other half had a look and agreed with me. The lines got stronger colour after about 15mins???
So Ive just done a digital clearblue and it said not pregnant.
Any ideas??
Should I believe the digital result?

hi hun yes i have two children and had two very faint tests with both my children and didnt believe it so had to get it checked out at the doctors it just turned out i was very early on in pregnancy. try doing another one with first urine of the day if your not one hundred percent sure. but if you used a digital one i dont think it would be wrong i have heard they are very accurate

deakin82 · 10/06/2009 18:44

but it sounds to me hun like you are pregnant i wud just get myself checked out at the doctors and explain what happened.

mammyknowsbest · 10/06/2009 18:46

Yes I had a very very very faint line and wasn't sure if it was a positive result. Checked with the doctors and bingo I was pregnant :-)

SCH · 10/06/2009 18:54

Ok thanks guys. I'll try the doctors.
Fingers crossed x

My very faint line - you could barely see it without squinting and holding it to the light - is sitting on my lap as we speak.

SCH · 10/06/2009 19:02

aah
Just read something about clearblue digitals not being very accurate....I did do the test in the middle of the day. Am I clutching at straws??

Do it first thing in the morning, hormone will be easier to detect!
My faint line is 2.7!

Doctorskidaddle · 10/06/2009 21:20

are you testing early? It def sounds like you are pg. I had this with my DS when I tested a couple of days before I was due

SCH · 11/06/2009 20:04

Could be a bit early...I hope so!
6 weeks since last period, I do have quite a weird cycle.
Im going to try another test tomorrow morning x

Same thing has happened to me and driving me crazy. Ebay cheapies x2 faint positives and then CB digital BFN.

I am testing 3 days early ( I know, I know)

How sensitive are Clearblue?

Fingers crossed for you SCH

mynameis · 12/06/2009 21:23

Anyone know? Any news SCH?

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 12/06/2009 21:27

The same thing happened to me- a cheapy gave me a very very faint +ve after about 15 mins and the digital clear blue gave me a -ve. Guess what? he is now 9mths old! Good luck- impossible for a test to give a false +ve, more likely a test would give a false -ve if you see what I mean.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 13/06/2009 09:34

clearblue are not that sensitive compared to other tests if your in early stages of pregnancy. I have had 2 positives on tescos tests and a not pregnant on clearblue with previous pregnancy. Leave clearblue a few days then test again with first pee of the day! Good luck

By the way it sounds like you are pregnant

mynameis · 13/06/2009 22:40

Just to drive myself a bit more nuts I did another ebay test last night and looked negative, did one this morning and more strongly positive.

Aarrgh good job they are cheap!

Have one more clearblue, I am not not not testing til after Monday

Dragonfly74 · 13/06/2009 22:45

I had a very faint positive, was holding it up to the light and everything, went and bought a Clear Blue digital which said Not Pregnant. Af still didn't arrive, so did another test three days later, which was positive. Am now 12 weeks pg with dc2.

nictorina · 19/06/2009 13:06

I had a very faint postive yesterday and af was due yesterday. Tested again last night with a clear blue digital and it was a BFP! Good luck!

proudestmummyever · 19/06/2009 22:14

elvislives · 19/06/2009 22:17
